Vesak Festival

Vesak is a religious festival. It falls in May every year. Buddhists celebrate this festival in a grand scale. This festival reminds us the three sacred events of Lord Buddha. They are birth, enlightenment and passing away of lord Buddha. Buddhists decorate their houses with oil lamps,buckets,various coloured bulbs and vesak lanterns. I also observe sill on the poyaday.
